In 2026, the Wittenberg Center for Reformation Studies welcomes a group of ten graduate students to Wittenberg for the fifth time. For four weeks, we will explore the history and message of the Reformation. This year, our focus is the Bible in the sixteenth century. The Wittenberg Center’s leadership team, a Research Fellow, and several Teaching Fellows will present their research and discuss how the Bible was understood and used during the Reformation. The ten student fellows come from four different continents and study at renowned universities and seminaries. The Summer Course includes visits to Wittenberg’s sights and monuments, as well as a weekend excursion to Nuremberg.

We thank our donors for making this summer course possible. Next year’s course will take place from mid-July to early August in Wittenberg and focus on the Reformation and family.
