On July 2, the Protestant Parish of Wittenberg invited Rev. John Fonville (Jacksonville, Florida) to preach at the Sunday morning service at St. Mary’s. His Wittenberg colleague, Pastor Fabian Mederacke, translated the sermon into German, and the congregation sang hymns in German and English.
