On Monday, June 6th, the Wittenberg Summer Course 2022 started: eleven Student Fellows, two Research Fellows and six Teaching Fellows are coming to Wittenberg to explore the story of the German Reformation. Our first day was dedicated to the history of Wittenberg, especially in the Sixteenth Century. Dr. Insa Christina Hennen guided as through the city and shared her research on Reformation Wittenberg with us. The temporary home of the Summer Course is the “Collegium Fridericianum”, the main building of the Wittenberg University, now seat of the Leucorea Foundation.
