On September 26-27, the Wittenberg Center for Reformation Studies was invited by the Wittenberg Center of the Lutheran World Federation to accompany a group of teachers, principals and pastors working in Lutheran schools in Australia. Over two days, WCRS Director Andreas Stegmann introduced the group to Philip Melanchthon’s ideas on education and schooling and Luther’s views on the Jews. The group studied programmatic texts and discussed what the Reformation might mean for today’s challenges in society and school.
