On February 29, 2024, Robinson College, Cambridge, hosted this year’s Dickens Brooks Lecture. The lecture series is named after two influential scholars of Reformation history: Arthur G. Dickens (1910-2001) and Peter Newman Brooks (b. 1931). It is sponsored by the Wittenberg Center for Reformation Studies. This year, Prof. Bridget Heal of St. Andrew’s University presented her research on the religious history of the Thirty Years’ War in Germany.
