For the Student Fellows of the Wittenberg Summer Course, it was a free weekend after two weeks of intensive work on the German Reformation. It was also the weekend on which the first Research Fellow left Wittenberg and the second Research Fellow arrived. Prof. Steven Griffin (Ryle Seminary, Ottawa) not only pursued his research interests but also contributed to the Course in the first two weeks. He participated in many sessions and his contributions to the discussions were always illuminating and challenging. Archbishop Mouneer Anis from Cairo is now with the Summer Course. He focuses on the relevance of the Reformation for church and society today.
